On August 22, as part of the President’s official visit to Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum was held in Tashkent.

At the event, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov gave speeches. The forum discussed topics such as increasing trade volume, exchanging experiences, and establishing new partnership relations among business representatives.

The event saw the participation of around 300 entrepreneurs from both sides, involved in various sectors including construction, industry, agriculture, automotive, transportation-logistics, healthcare, tourism, and more.

Additionally, Vugar Abbasov, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Confederation of Entrepreneurs and Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, also attended the forum.
