On April 28, a conference titled “The Impact of Climate Change on Labor Protection” was held in Nakhchivan to mark both the World Day for Safety and Health at Work and the 100th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The conference featured speeches from Fuad Nagiyev, the Azerbaijani President’s authorized representative in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; Sahil Babayev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection; Vugar Abbasov, Vice President of the Azerbaijani Confederation of Entrepreneurs; and other state officials. Panel discussions were also conducted.

During the event, employers with positive experiences in labor protection and NGOs contributing to public awareness of labor and social rights were honored.

Sabir İmanov, the branch manager of Avromed Nakhchivan LLC, received a Certificate of Appreciation from Vugar Abbasov, Vice President of the Azerbaijani Confederation of Entrepreneurs.
