Azerbaijani companies participated in the “Gulfood 2021” international food exhibition held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 21 to 25.

At the exhibition, with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), 15 companies operating in the food industry showcased their products at the “Made in Azerbaijan” national stand. The Azerbaijani pavilion featured locally produced fruits and vegetables, confectionery, natural juices, mineral waters, honey, milk, tea, and other products.

The “Cahan” Commercial Companies Union, “Lazzat Food Industry,” and “Gemiqaya Mineral Waters” LLCs, which operate in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, were also represented at the international food exhibition. Meetings are currently being held to promote our local products and explore foreign markets.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani delegation participating in the “Gulfood” international food exhibition, considered one of the largest business platforms in the Gulf region and the Middle East, is led by Vugar Abbasov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs and President of the “Cahan” Commercial Companies Union.
