A presentation of new production facilities has been held in Nakhchivan.

Nakhchivan Confederation Of Entrepreneurs

On December 17, a presentation of new production and service facilities was held in Nakhchivan.

Tapdig Aliyev, Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, stated that, alongside other sectors of the economy, particular emphasis is placed on the development of industry in the autonomous republic. Existing resources are being mobilized for production. As a result of privatization, investments have been attracted to enterprises, which have been equipped with modern equipment and new production areas have been established. The revitalization of production in these enterprises has accelerated the social and economic development of the autonomous republic. The Confederation’s efforts to actively engage entrepreneurs, including the privatization and modernization of enterprises such as the “Khalcha” Open Joint-Stock Company, have been instrumental. Seven different types of enterprises will operate within the company’s production facilities. Mahir Dunyamaliyev expressed gratitude on behalf of the workforce.

The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Vasif Talibov, recalled the words of our national leader Heydar Aliyev: “Every entrepreneur should remember that they work not only for their own benefit but also for the benefit of our country and the people.” He stated that today’s newly launched enterprises protect both the interests of entrepreneurs and the state. Entrepreneurs have identified investment areas by studying the market, while the state has applied certain incentives, provided investment promotion documents, allocated areas, and, as a result, new production areas have been created. All these efforts significantly contribute to the public good. The commencement of activities in these new production areas will enable demand to be met through local production rather than imports. In summary, these initiatives serve the development of our country.

The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly also mentioned that the provision of economic development and stability, and the successful continuation of Heydar Aliyev’s legacy, has facilitated the liberation of our occupied territories. Today, restoration and construction work is being carried out not only in the liberated areas but also in other regions of our country. As part of these activities, entrepreneurship is supported as a key direction of state policy, with both the state and entrepreneurs protecting each other’s interests. The creation of new job opportunities contributes to improving the living standards of the population. The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly expressed gratitude to those involved in these efforts and showed interest in the created conditions. It was noted that seven different types of enterprises would operate in the production sector, including waste recycling, furniture production, storage of food and household goods, packaging of food products, a logistics center, the production of baby diapers by “AKI Pharmaceutical Warehouse” LLC established in 2014, packaging of medical alcohol, and furniture production. A total of 215 jobs have been created, with an overall investment of 6,509,000 manat, of which 730,000 manat is state financial support.

It was reported that the “Tudor Logistics and Industrial Center,” created by “Cahan Holding” Commercial Companies Union, will play a significant role in meeting the population’s demand for essential food products. The facility includes sections for sugar production, packaging of sugar, cereal grains, and tea. The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly inaugurated the facility. With an annual production capacity of 4,880 tons, the facility will produce 57 types of products, including sugar, sugar powder, cereal grains, and tea. In addition to the production area, the facility includes storage for finished products and raw materials, a cafeteria, five offices, a conference room, a laboratory, and other service rooms. The warehouse established in the facility will ensure the storage of strategic food products, contributing to the uninterrupted supply of these products to the population and local production enterprises and protecting the domestic market. In addition to meeting the demand of the autonomous republic, the produced products are also intended for sale in other regions of the country.

Vugar Abbasov, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, expressed gratitude on behalf of the entrepreneurs. The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly issued instructions regarding quality control of the produced products, attention to packaging, presentation of new business projects, prioritizing enterprises using local raw materials, and protecting the domestic market.
