The Business and Investment Forum held in Tashkent city concluded its work on October 6.

On October 5, 2019, a Business and Investment Forum was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with the participation of countries that are members of the Turkic Council. The forum, led by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Jamshid Kuchkarov, included a 55-member delegation from Azerbaijan. The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was represented at the forum by Vugar Abbasov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs, a member of the Turkic Council, President of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurs, and President of “Cahan Holding” LLC. Over 400 businesspeople from various Turkic-speaking countries participated in the forum, covering sectors such as construction materials, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, tourism, food industry, textiles, information and communication technologies, chemicals, oil and gas industry, machinery manufacturing, and electrical engineering.
