During the event, Vugar Abbasov, the Chairman of the Confederation, stated that in 2018, the Confederation organized a total of 29 international events with the participation of entrepreneurs. These included 10 business forums, 15 exhibitions, 1 congress, and 3 business meetings.
He highlighted that regular communication with entrepreneurs is maintained, and proposals and recommendations are provided based on monitoring aimed at stimulating production and exports. To ensure healthy competition and protect the domestic market during the mass production of products, relevant measures are implemented. A training plan has been developed for those wishing to start a business. As part of efforts to strengthen the entrepreneurial class and form new entrepreneurs in the Autonomous Republic, a course was organized for 60 individuals interested in starting a business at the Nakhchivan Business Center.
The event also featured presentations by Zahid Qanbarov, Head of the Department at the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Ministry of Taxes, on amendments and additions to the tax code, and by Ismayil Mammadov from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic State Customs Committee, who provided information on the green channel clearance system, including its usage rights, suspension, cancellation, and restoration procedures.
Additionally, the Confederation’s work plan for 2019 was approved, and discussions were held on the problems faced by entrepreneurs.
