Meeting with the Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Held at the Business Center.

On May 25, 2016, Famil Seyidov, the Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Vugar Abbasov, the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Entrepreneurs’ Confederation, held a meeting with local entrepreneurs.

Opening the meeting with a welcoming speech, Minister Seyidov discussed the fertile ground created for the development of entrepreneurship, highlighted the significant steps taken in agriculture and industry, and emphasized the importance given to entrepreneurial activities. He underscored the government’s attention and care in creating a favorable environment for the growth of entrepreneurship.

The Minister pointed out that the activities of entrepreneurs are closely monitored by the ministry, including the quality and prices of produced goods, and noted that progress has been achieved based on the directives of Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic’s Supreme Assembly.

Minister Seyidov stressed that the main agenda is to identify and address the problems faced by entrepreneurs, and assured that necessary support would be provided for this purpose.

In his address, Chairman Vüqar Abbasov recalled the words of Mr. Vasif Talibov, “Entrepreneurs are among the most respected members of society,” and discussed the importance of entrepreneurial activities. He emphasized that the government provides all necessary assistance and support for the growth and development of these activities.

Following this, entrepreneurs who faced issues in their operations spoke up. Discussions were held to find joint solutions to the challenges they encountered, and necessary notes were taken for reporting to the relevant authorities.
